Hi there, I’m Nancy.

I design thoughtful digital experiences with people at the center.
My work blends UX strategy, research, and creative storytelling to turn ideas into clear, meaningful designs.

About Me

Hi there! I’m Nancy Secaida.

I’m a current graduate student in Interactive Design at the Savannah College of Art and Design, with a BA in Interactive Design and Game Development at the same university, and a BS in Communication and Marketing from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. I love working at the crossroads of UX design, games, and storytelling among other things.

I’m someone who thinks a lot about people’s experiences, whether that’s navigating an app, moving through a game environment, or reading a story online. My background in writing, digital marketing, and communication really shapes how I design and allows me to make sure ideas actually connect with people, not just look good on screen.

Alongside design, writing is something I genuinely enjoy and continue to practice. My skills in marketing, PR, and editorial work - from internships to ongoing writing roles, have helped me develop a strong sense of audience, narration, and strategy. I love thinking about how ideas are communicated - which helps with the way I design interfaces, flows, and interactive experiences.

At SCAD, I’ve worked on projects ranging from UX-focused mobile apps, to game environments, and asset design - using tools like Figma, Unreal Engine 5, and Adobe’s creative suite. I especially enjoy projects that involve problem-solving, accessibility, and aesthetic focused design that feel intentional and immersive.

Outside of school, I write about games - specifically horror and pop culture, which has helped me think critically about player experience, audience engagement, and narration across different platforms. I’m also an avid reader and lifelong fan of story-rich immersion, which definitely sneaks its way into my work.
